2024 Season Registration
Get ready to dust off those cleats and warm up those arms! CBS Kiwanis Minor Baseball is thrilled to announce that registration for the 2024 season is almost ready to open. With the winter chill fading away (hopefully), it's time to embrace the sunshine and the crack of the bat as our budding athletes take to the diamond. Whether you're a seasoned player or a newcomer we invite you to experience an unforgettable baseball season filled with teamwork, sportsmanship, and memories that will last a lifetime!
General Registration Information & Reminders:
- Registration opens on Sunday, April 21, 2024 at 8:00am.
- Links to our RAMP registration portal can be found on our website (cbsbaseball.ca) on the main menu and “quick link” button midway down the homepage.
- Please note that there will be a small increase in fees this season to cover rising costs for maintaining standards and ensuring an enjoyable game experience for the kids. The Town of Conception Bay South has also implemented a field maintenance fee in the 2024 Budget (see 2024 Schedule of Rates and Fees, page 9) for all community groups. Specifically, the town is charging each registered player $20 for improved maintenance. For any inquiries or feedback on this fee, please contact the town directly.
- Each Division has a limited number of open spots for us to run an effective and efficient baseball program for the kids so please do not delay and register at your earliest convenience. We will do our best to send reminders and updates throughout the registration window as Divisions get close to being filled.
- We firmly believe that every child should have the chance to experience the joy of playing baseball, regardless of financial circumstances. If registration cost is a barrier for you at this time, please visit our Financial Assistance page for a list of organizations that can assist. Each of the organizations listed and us, as an Association, respect your privacy and confidentiality.
Registration Costs by Division & Birth Year(s):
- 6U - $150 Birth Year 2019, 2018
- 9U - $230 Birth Year 2017, 2016 & 2015
- 11U - $230 Birth Year 2014 & 2013
- 13U - $230 Birth Year 2012 & 2011
- 15U - $230 Birth Year 2010 & 2009
- 18U - $230 Birth Year 2008, 2007, 2006 (Waitlist only, based on Registration numbers)
- 12U Female - $230 Birth Year 2015, 2014, 2013 & 2012*
- All-Star Tryouts - $100
*NOTE: We are accepting 12U Female registrations on a waitlist only basis at this time until we can confirm numbers for the program. If your daughter wishes to play baseball in the co-ed division (should the Female division not have enough players) please ensure you also register for the corresponding 11U/13U division at this time. Space will be limited in those divisions, and we will happily apply the registration payment you make there to the Female division as needed.
PSA All-Star Tryouts:
- May 11, 3pm - 5pm (Division times to be communicated when registration is complete)
- May 12, 9am - 3pm (Division times to be communicated when registration is complete)
- Outdoor Sessions (Dates and times to be announced when registration numbers are completed)
